Because the ANDP Veteran DPA is available alongside other programs, a veteran buyer can often combine this $15,000 with additional assistance — for example, stacking with Georgia Dream ($12,500) brings total assistance to $27,500 on a qualifying property.

The 120% AMI limit is significantly more generous than most programs (which cap at 80% AMI), meaning higher-income veterans who don't qualify for other DPA programs often qualify for this one.

Obtain Your Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

Get Pre-Qualified with an ANDP Participating Lender

To access the ANDP Veteran DPA, you must use a participating lender. Shannon Erickson is an ANDP participating lender who handles VA, FHA, and conventional loans — one pre-qualification covers all your options simultaneously.

Complete the ANDP Homebuyer Education Course

Most DPA programs require an 8-hour HUD-approved homebuyer education course. This can be completed online in a single session and is required before receiving DPA funds at closing.

Select Your Community & Sign a Purchase Contract
